After spending a few years in upstate New York, Spain, and Washington, D.C. I returned to Rhode Island to be closer to family in 2007. While working at the International Center at Johnson and Wales, I completed a Masters Degree in Public Administration at URI and also studied Pastry Arts at JWU. I’ve been teaching and working with the Youth Group at Temple Habonim since September 2011, and in June 2012, I joined the Youth In Action team to do marketing and development. I love working with such incredible youth and adults as we work together to make Rhode Island a better place.
When I find it, I spend much of my free time running half marathons and adventure races, as well as making chocolate truffles, reading, and exploring new things with friends and family. This year, I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of the Women’s Policy Institute, though which I’ve helped to lobby for policy that would improve equality of women and girls in RI. I’ve been very lucky to be able to travel and work with people locally and globally.
